NEW YORK, NY (FASHLIFE) — On June 26, Anna Wintour informed Vogue staff that the publication would soon be appointing a new “head of editorial content” to lead the magazine’s daily operations across all platforms.

According to Vogue, Wintour will continue in her high-level roles as chief content officer of Condé Nast—where she oversees editorial across multiple brands—and as global editorial director for Vogue. However, this new position marks a shift in how the American edition of the magazine will be managed on a day-to-day basis.

“Now, I find that my greatest pleasure is helping the next generation of impassioned editors storm the field with their own ideas, supported by a new, exciting view of what a major media company can be,” Wintour told Vogue.

Despite the leadership transition, Wintour emphasized that she will remain involved with key pillars of the brand, including the Met Gala and Vogue World.
